Ink drawing ( Drawing)
I began writing characters with a brush on xuan paper in primary school, copying masters such as Wang Xizhi and Yan Zhenqing. I slowly got used to letting my brush strokes move across the xuan paper. They record my various spontaneous musings, leaving an embodiment of my physical breaths of the moment.
What seems an everyday exercise has become indispensable in my life. The traces left behind unintentionally in ink-and-wash provide a release for the burdens of life, and also serve as a vigilant reminder maintaining my artistic inspiration and sensitivity
